Financial Aid Forms 2022-2023

Please note that the 2022-2023 financial aid year will be FOUR (4) quarters with Summer 2023 being a "Trailer" quarter at the end of the year. That means for Summer 2023 aid, we will be using the 2022-2023 FAFSA. The quarters for the 2022-2023 year will be:

  • Fall 2022
  • Winter 2023
  • Spring 2023
  • Summer 2023

What this means for you: PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Students who receive Pell Grant at the full-time level each quarter are usually eligible for Pell Grant in the summer, subject to percentage of Pell used at another school, if any, during the FAFSA aid year. Student loans have an annual limit, so keep the 4-quarter year in mind when filling out your loan requests. Remember that there are also lifetime limits for grants and loans.

Submitting Forms and Documents: Students are able to securely submit their financial aid documents using the "Upload Documents" feature in the "Additional Resources" Tile in the ctcLink Student Services CenterCenter:

1. Go to Student Homepage > Additional Resources > Upload Documents (TIP: From WVC Dashboard, click "Full Site" at bottom of menu to go to Student Homepage)

2. Select Wenatchee Valley College from the drop down menu then click Continue

3. Enter "FA" for Document Class and choose an appropriate Document Type

The release does not carry over from year to year, so you will need to fill out the form for each year you attend.

Loans, unlike grants or work-study, are borrowed money that must be repaid, with interest. These are real loans-just like car loans or mortgages. You cannot have these loans canceled because you didn't like the education you received or because you're having financial difficulty. These loans are a serious obligation, so think about the amount you'll have to repay over the years before you take out a loan. Please read instructions carefully and submit the appropriate loan worksheet for the loan(s) you are requesting.  For additional information on loans, please visit our loan information page.

150% Subsidized Loan Rule Info Sheet

On July 6, 2013, a new provision was added to the Direct Loan statutory requirements that limits a new borrower's eligibility for Direct Subsidized Loans to a period not to exceed 150 percent of the length of the borrower's educational program. Under certain conditions, the provision also causes new borrowers who have exceeded the 150 percent limit to lose the interest subsidy on their Direct Subsidized loans.

To find out how the 150 Percent Rule affects you and your student loan, download the information sheet to the left and also visit studentloans.gov for additional information.

If you wish to be considered for a re-evaluation of your financial circumstances, please use the appropriate form below to explain your circumstances.
