WVC offers a rollover scholarship application. Students that submitted an application in fall quarter, but did not receive a scholarship, will automatically be considered during the winter and spring quarter cycles. You do not need to apply again.
Applicants will receive notifications six to eight weeks after the quarterly deadline. Notifications will be sent to the email listed on your application. Scholarships are awarded for one academic year. Once you have received a scholarship during the current academic year, you do not need to apply again until the following academic year.
Part-time students are eligible for many scholarships and only a few scholarships have a minimum GPA requirement.
By filling out the WVC scholarship application, you will be considered for all available scholarships. Students do not need to apply for specific scholarships, as the selection committee will match applicants using the application materials submitted.
If awarded, students will be asked to submit a follow-up form through AwardSpring. These follow-up forms are important to our process as they confirm acceptance and also keep our generous scholarship donors informed.
All current and incoming WVC students including adult learners, part-time students and DREAMers are eligible to apply. There are scholarships for every area of study. A full list of scholarships can be seen here.
Many of our scholarships are renewable. This means students can receive the same scholarship multiple years in a row. Recipients of renewable scholarships will receive instructions on how this process works via their application's preferred email.
The athletic department gives athletic awards to students who are participants of WVC’s intercollegiate athletic teams. Inquiries regarding athletic scholarships should be directed to the athletic director or individual sport coach.
