About MESA
Empowering STEM students across rural North Central Washington
WVC MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement) is one of the 12 Transfer Prep programs across Washington state, and it's defined as a student-centered program that offers academic and non-academic support to students interested in STEM who intend to transfer from their Wenatchee Valley College associate degree to pursue a four-year degree program.
At Wenatchee Valley College, the MESA program is more than an academic initiative. Since Fall 2022, WVC MESA has undergone a transformative shift in leadership and impact, serving over 250 students--including 130 first-generation and low-income students--who have dared to dream boldly, learn deeply, and give back to the communities they call home.
