Immigration Rights & Nondiscrimination
000.310 IMMIGRATION RIGHTS AND NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY
Wenatchee Valley College has adopted this policy pursuant to the requirements of the
Keep Washington Working Act, and limits “immigration enforcement to the fullest extent possible consistent with
federal and state law to ensure colleges remain accessible to all Washington residents,
regardless of immigration or citizenship status.” The college has established an accompanying
procedure, 1000.310 to provide clarity about the college’s role in ensuring educational
opportunities for all individuals, while leaving immigration enforcement efforts to
the federal government.
