Meet the Minds Behind the Mission: Jennifer Faulconer
Jennifer Faulconer attended Wenatchee Valley College from 2003-2004 and believes education
is important because educated citizens provide the best foundational bedrock to a
healthy and productive society.
“I'm inspired to serve on the WVC Foundation board because I get to see firsthand, through student testimonials and reporting metrics, how impactful the scholarships we provide them can be to their lives,” she said.
Some of Jennifer’s favorite memories include the Food Truck Knight events that she has volunteered at because she enjoys watching the community turn out to support our mission.
Outside of serving on the WVC Foundation board, Jennifer enjoys spending time in the mountains and near water. She enjoys hiking and backpacking in North Central Washington and taking advantage of the beautiful valley as much as possible.
“WVC matters to me because without its presence in our community, educational options for our residents would be limited to online or out-of-town options,” Jennifer said. “WVC offers non-traditional students the ability to enhance their education, while remaining in this great valley.”
